Happy 8 Months, Colson!

Colson, you are 8 months old.

You are starting to turn into a little boy.

You are so much more aware of things and you know what you want.

You love playing with mommy's necklaces.

You love every food that you have tried.

You love sitting up to play but you haven't quite figured out how to get out of the position to be able to roll around.

You still haven't figured out crawling but you constantly prop yourself up on all fours...and then grunt because you can't figure out how to move.

You have even pushed yourself up into a downward dog type pose. I'm not sure what that is all about but it's pretty funny when you do it.

You're still a great sleeper.

Every time I try to get you to say mama, you look at me and whisper back dada. Not funny...but I guess you'll say mama eventually, right!?

You are such a happy baby and give us the biggest open mouth smiles that just light up our heart.

You love watching your sissy and now that you are sitting up to play, she is actually playing with you. It is so cute watching you two interact with one another.

We love you very much and I am finding it very hard to wrap my brain around the fact that in only 4 short months you will be 1 year old. You are going to change so much in those short months so I am trying to soak in as much baby-ness as I can.
