16 Weeks

How far along? 16 weeks

Weight gain/loss: +4 pounds total that I know of but I'm sure I've gained since my last appointment 3 weeks ago.

Maternity clothes? Just pants and when I say pants, I mean capris because it has been to freakin' hot for pants. I am over this 90 degree crap! Fall can get here anytime so I can go out and buy JEANS!

Stretch marks? Nope. I avoided them with Hannah so hopefully I avoid them again.

Sleep? Sleep? What's that? My nose and bladder are not allowing me to get any sleep. I can't breathe and I have to get up to pee every 2 hours. Fun stuff!

Best moment this week? It was the last week of August...which means Fall is quickly approaching!

Food cravings: Sushi! I need sushi! Good thing we're going out for sushi on Wednesday. :o)

Gender: My guess is boy. Hoping to schedule our ultrasound at our appointment next Tuesday.

Belly button in or out? In

Movement? I don't think so. I might have had one or two little thumps yesterday evening but nothing too crazy.

What I miss? That 70 degree weather we had the other week! Good thing it comes back this weekend! :o) Oh, and being able to breathe through my nose!

What I'm looking forward to: Feeling the baby move and scheduling our ultrasound at our appointment next week.

Milestones: Baby is measuring 4 1/2 inches long, weighs 3 1/5 ounces and can now hear my voice!

I still feel like I look more fat than anything. Blah. And please ignore the yucky hair/tired look.

I can't believe I am already 16 weeks though. It is even weirder to think that at 16 weeks with Hannah we found out that she was a girl. We had our ultrasound pretty early with her though. With this one we're waiting until 20 weeks so the gender results will be more accurate.

I have also decided to only to these updates every other week. I feel like I just keep writing the same stuff over and over. So I will post these on the even weeks, along with a belly pic. If something happens that is newsworthy in between these posts, then I will just make it it's own entry.

  1. I know exactly what it feels like to not be able to breathe (through your nose) at night. Due to my allergies I deal with that almost every night. So annoying - I keep asking myself what I did that I deserve that. :o(
