Pink Popcorn

Remember the paper cones I blogged about a while ago???

Well, I decided to make pink popcorn to put inside of them.  

I found this recipe:

Ingredients

2 cups sugar

• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1/2 cup water
• red food coloring
• 2 cups unpopped popcorn

• Directions
• 1.  Pop corn in an air popper.
• 2.  Boil the sugar, butter, water and food coloring for 3 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes.
• 3.  Slowly poor the sugar mixture over the popcorn and toss to coat evenly.
• 4.  Let dry on a cookie sheet. To speed this process dry in a 200 degree oven for 10 minutes, watching carefully.
• (makes 8 -10 cups)
