A great photo session!!!

I am so pleased with how our photo session turned out!

The kiddos were happy and cooperative and we got so many great photos!!

I seriously got so many prints that I have no idea where I am going to hang them all! :o)

Studio Picture Outfits

Tomorrow I am taking the kiddos to go get their pictures taken.

It's actually mostly for Hailey to have some photos on her own but I am hoping the older two cooperate enough for some nice group photos, as well.

As with any other photo session, I obsessed over the outfits. 

Here is the first set of outfits.

Hailey will have individual photos taken wearing that cute lacy romper--which I love. I also love the headband I ordered for her...so much so that I ordered Hannah a matching clip (currently clipped on the dress). :o)

And here is the second set of outfits.

The girls will wear orange bows with these outfits.

Hailey's romper was the first thing I ordered. Then I got Hannah's dress at The Childrens Place and ordered the matching bows. I had a hard time with Colson's first outfit...I originally wanted something cream with grey shorts to keep with the brighter airy feel. But yeah, a boys all cream top is not so easy to find so I settled on a cream and navy blue top with navy shorts. 

Then I wanted to have a second outfit option. I walked through Kohls twenty times before I finally decided on the outfits in the second picture. 

I am pleased with what I came up with and I really hope everyone is well behaved and we get some really nice photos.

Fingers crossed that everyone is in a good mood and has happy smiley faces!! :o)

Randoms

How are we into the last week of June? Wasn't Hannahs last day of preschool....yesterday? No? Yeah, that's right, it was a month ago. What's up with that?

But I feel like this whole month it's been raining. Especially this past week. And not just drizzling rain, i'm talking thunder and lightening down pouring rain. That doesn't really allow the kids to go outside an play very much when the yard is a mushy mess. :o/ we go out when we can but because of the rain, it is sooooo humid out that we only stay out there for an hour tops. It's supposed to be slightly cooler the rest of the week so holefully things dry out and we can go outside.

All Hannah wants to do is go outside and that is because she finally mastered the art of swinging. She has finally gotten the timing of everything down so we no longer have to push her! She is so proud if herself! :o)

Colson doesn't like the fact that Hannah can swing because he can't quite yet. He's actually so short that he can even get on the swing by himself. :o( Poor guy. So we have to push him for now...but he seems okay with that for the time being.

Hailey, she is all over the place these days. Crawling everywhere. Pulling up onto anything. I have resisted the urge to get the pack n play but that time is approaching ever nearer. They say to get rid of the exersaucer when they start pulling up onto things so I guess it's time to take that downstairs. :o/ That is what I am using when I want to go to the bathroom and get some thing done around the house. But, I guess it's time to retire it for the third and final time.

I am officially starting on Hailey's first birthday. We have just over 2 months to go so I want to slowly start on some DIY projects that I have in mind. Theme--hot air balloons. Love it?? I do and am pretty excited to get started on things! She has her perfect dress to wear from Jelly the Pug that has hot air balloons on it, so we expand from there. I'll do a separate post soon about some of the ideas I have found and what I plan on doing. :o)

Today I am getting my hair done. Yay for a little bit of me time!! We have a wedding to go to Saturday so I wanted to freshen up the highlights! :o)

Speaking of the wedding... I bought a black pencil skirt to wear to it. Totally outside of my comfort zone!!! But the hubs approved so I decided to go with it. Although I had no idea what too to wear with it...I am a pencil skirt newb. So I turned to Facebook and was told to find a nice flowy top that I can tuck in. So that's what I did--I got a nice cream flowy top. I hope it looks as nice as I think it does. :o/ I also got a cute statement necklace to wear. Now I just have to decide on my black heels or my nude heels. I'm leaning towards nude. Man, this dressing up stuff is complicated. Can you tell that I don't have to do it much!? :oP

Then, Thursday, I am taking the kiddos to get their photos taken. We're just going to a studio which I am not a huge fan of...I prefer the outside pictures better, but that's okay. The photos are really for Hailey. Every other kid had some nice studio shots when they were a baby so I didn't want to leave Hailey out. Bonus points for the other two cooperating for some group photos while we're there. I got them outfits and everything so i plan on coming out of there with at least one nice photo of all three of them. I'll do a post tomorrow about the outfits I have pulled together. :o)

Less than 4 weeks until vacation...not that i'm counting or anything! :oP

'Consin'

One month from today we load the kids up in the car to make an 8 hour drive up to Mercer, Wisconsin for our family vacation. 

I am just over 1 year old in this picture and I went to Mercer every summer until my grandparents sold their cabin in 2002. 

It made me incredibly sad when they sold it because I always looked forward to the day we would take our kids up to 'Consin' (that's what I used to call it). To fish on the lakes I fished on all my life. To run through the pine trees. To go to the petting zoo. To buy useless souvenirs from the wampum shop. To just enjoy nature.

Well, we finally get to take the kiddos!!!

We might not be staying in my families old cabin but we are staying on the same lake. And we will go to the putting zoo. And you can bet your ass that I will let the kids pick out whatever useless crap that they want!!! 

I am so hoping the next month flies by because I am probably more excited than the kids to go on vacation! :o)

Hailey's 9 Month Stats

Hailey's had her 9 month well baby visit yesterday.

Here are her stats:

Weight--17.5 pounds (20th percentile)

Height--27 inches (31st percentile)

That is up just over two pounds and 2 inches from her 6 month appointment.

Although she flip flopped in the percentiles. At 6 months her weight was in the 31st percentile and her height was in the 21th percentile. 

Here are the other two kiddos 9 month stats for comparison.

Hannah--19.3 pounds and 28 inches

Colson-- 18.8 pounds and 27 inches (taken two days shy of 10 months old)

So Hailey is definitely the smallest. I can tell that she is fitting into clothes longer than Hannah did and now that I know that Hailey is almost 2 pounds lighter than Hannah at the same age, it makes total sense!

Hailey can still fit into some 6 month stuff but because most of Hannah's summer stuff is 9 months, Hailey is wearing that.

Hailey eats three times a day and has loved every food. The doctor said that as long as it's small enough and soft enough, we can pretty much give her anything she will eat. I might wait a while for that to become the main part of her food and continue baby food but it will be fun to have her practice. She has become a pro with the puffs and has even had some small pieces of watermelon so I'm sure she would do fine. Plus she is drinking from a straw sippy cup too. I just think I want to hold on to the baby-ness as much as possible and I will wait a bit longer on finger foods. :oP

Hailey still sleeps from 8pm to 8am on average at night. During the day she takes two naps...a one hour nap around 10:30 and then another longer nap--usually 2ish hours around 2:30.

She will say dada and mama but I don't think she really relates those words to us yet. And she will say nini--for night night maybe? I always ask her if she's ready for night night. She also loves to blow raspberries, shake her head no, and scrunch up her nose and blow air in and out of it. :oP

She can sit up but now that she can CRAWL so doesn't want to sit. 

Hailey started crawling at the end of May and there has been no stopping her. :o) She is a girl on the go!!

I feel like she has changed so much in the past 2 weeks and I just don't like it. My last baby is getting big way too fast! :o(

9 Months Old!

Little Miss is 9 months old today.

Her 9 month appointment is Thursday so I will update with her stats and other fun stuff in that post! :o)

On To Kindergarten.

Hannah had her last day of preschool last Thursday.

It was sad to say goodbye to her teachers, but it was nice knowing that next Fall, we will be right back there with Colson. We really do love the school and we are glad that we will be there for a few more years. :o)

I'm not sure I like the fact that I now have a kindergartener though. Actually, no, I take that back...I know I don't like it.

It feels just like yesterday that Hannah was Hailey's age and now here she is, getting ready to start full day school in just a few short months.

It's not fair, how fast time flies!!!

But when Hannah had her first day of preschool, I took a photo of her.

I wasn't going to take a last day of preschool photo but after I saw other parents doing, I wanted to as well.

It's crazy just how much they grow in such a short period of time.
