Niagara Falls, Canada

To celebrate our upcoming 5 year wedding anniversary, the hubs planned a little getaway. For the longest time, he kept the destination a secret from me. He planned the trip all on his own and I must say, he did a rather good job. :o)

A week before we were to leave, he finally told me where we were going...Niagara Falls. I have talked about wanting to go there many times so I was pretty excited!

And mind you, this was our first vacation, without the kids, since we had Hannah. The time away was very much needed!

So this past Wednesday, we dropped the kiddos off at the grandparents house and started the road trip to Niagara Falls.

It's one of those sites that you can't really explain, and photos don't do it justice. All I will say is that it was crazy huge, insanely powerful, and breathtakingly beautiful!

I'm so glad we were able to get away for a few days, just the two of us. I can't believe we will be married for 5 years in just a few short days. This was definitely a great way to celebrate!
