Baby Legs

I have seen Baby Legs in stores and online and have always wanted to get a pair for Hannah.  They are essentially leg warmers.  Well, while I was at Target the other day, I saw some and broke down and bought a pair.  :o)

Since it was nice out today, I thought I would break them in.  I think they are just too cute!

I'm sure I will be buying a few more pairs... since spring is around the corner and Hannah will start crawling in a couple months.

These have caught my eye:

Hannah has to have a solid pink pair!

I love the brown.  I think I will definitely have to get these too!

LOVE THEM! I think these are a must buy... even though they won't go with much!

And, of course, Hannah needs a pair that goes with everything... :oP

Beautiful Weather

It was such a beautiful day outside yesterday that I couldn't resist taking Hannah out for some fresh air. My sister and brother-in-law were in town for a few days and were grilling ribs out on the grill for dinner so we joined them out on the deck for a while.

It's supposed to be another nice day today... and through the weekend.  Maybe I will take Hannah out for a walk around the subdivision.  :o)

Here are some cute photos from yesterday!

Crab Cakes

Nick and I love crab cakes.  Whether its as a sandwich or just a crab cake, we will sometimes splurge and order them when we go out to eat.

I have been wanting to try to make some myself, so maybe this weekend, or in the coming weeks, I will buy the stuff to try a recipe out!

Here are a couple recipes that I have found... on Martha Stewart, of course!
I'm not sure which one to try though... any suggestions?

A year ago today

It was a year ago today that I found out that I was pregnant! A year ago! It was a day of crazy emotions.  I remember it being hard to sit at work because I had yet to tell Nick.  I was excited and scared... this was definitely a life changing thing.  But I was so happy and remember it being hard for me to wait until dinner to share the news with Nick!

I can't believe it has been a year though.  Its even harder to believe that I have a 4 month old daughter!  I wouldn't change it for anything though!  I look at Hannah and wonder how we could be so lucky to have such a beautiful and perfect daughter. Sometimes its hard to believe that she is mine.  I just stare at her gorgeous little face and smile because it is the best sight in the world! She truly is the best thing that has ever happened to me (other than my husband, of course)!

I loved being pregnant!  It was fabulous... and I can't wait to be pregnant again... but I love holding my daughter in my arms even more.  I just hope that this next year doesn't go by as fast as this past year... because in a year, Hannah will be walking all over the house.  She won't be a baby anymore.

She'll always be my baby though, and I love her more than anything in this world!

Hannah, I am so glad to be your mommy!  Daddy and I love you more than words can explain!
Our lives were incomplete without you in it!

Update

Well, it's been a while.  Sorry to all of my faithful readers who check my blog more than 5 times in a day... I have left you hanging!  :oP

I will start off with some cute photos of my puppies!  :o)

Emma decided to use Hannah as a pillow.
It was too cute to not take a photo of it!

And here is me and my Dodger.
He was cold so he insisted that he curl up on my lap.

Now on to house updates...

Our countertops are in and so are our lights!  YAY!  Everything looks wonderful!

Me and Nick finished the tile on Saturday, so tomorrow me and my dad are going to go out to the house to grout everything... or at least get started.

We're also hoping the plumber comes out to install the water heater and the faucets and we get the carpet in this week.  Once the carpet is in, we're in the home stretch!  YAY!

Not too much more to report on... maybe I have hit a slight writers block...
