Colson's 18 months stats

I took Colson in for his 18 month well baby visit today.

Here are his past and current stats:

1 year--19.8 pounds and 28 inches
15 months--20.1 pounds and 29.25 inches
18 months--21.6 pounds and 30.25 inches

So a slight gain in both departments. Still low in the percentiles But it's something. He's totally healthy. Just small.

He is all over the place these days. Loves playing with cars and sitting on my lap reading books.

He's starting to get a bit more picky with foods but that's to be expected, I guess.

Here are some things that he can say--I'm sure I will forget some but this is what I can remember right now:
Mama
Daddy
Hannah
Dodger
Emma
Bama (for grandma)
Papa
Book
Car
Done
Down
Up
Tato (for potato)
Woof
Quack
Moo
Duck
Hand
Toes
Eyes
Hair
Night-night
Ball
Sock
Cookie
Cracker
Panda
Cup

Plus he will try to say other word after we say them, but they're not in his regular vocabulary yet.

He also knows where his eyes, ears, hair, nose, belly, hands and toes are located.

He can wave bye, clap, twirl in a circle, kick a ball, throw a ball and loves to jump on the couch.

He can eat very well with a fork and pretty well with a spoon.

He is still in size 4 diapers with no signs of outgrowing them any time soon. I can still overlap the Velcro.

He wears mostly 12 month clothing, with an occasional 6-9 month or 18 month thing thrown in there. I have no idea what size to buy him for fall and winter clothes. :o/

He is starting to show he is displeased when he doesn't get something he wants or when his sister takes a toy from him.

He loves when daddy gets home from work or when bama and papa comes to visit.

He is growing up before our eyes but he is still our little peanut! :o)

  1. I'm working with Mackenzie on saying 'ball' since she loves them! she was really thinking about saying it today. She and Colson would have fun playing catch! Well, she might throw them an would definately take them after he threw them. :) And Mackenzie is a pro at tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants.

    That's a lot of words! I can't believe he is 18 months!!
