Toddle Along Tuesday—Favorite Outfits
1.17.2012
Today I am Linking up with Growing Up Geeky!

Dressing a girl versus dressing a boy is like night and day. There is so much cute girls clothes out there but when it comes to boys stuff, it is kind of boring. :o/
Over the course of Hannah's 3 years, I have had many favorite outfits. I mean, she is the girl after all...with cute dresses and hair accessories. But if I were to try to find photos of said outfits, it would take me forever. So I thought maybe I would just talk about the styles I'm loving right now--and bonus if I can easily recall a photo to post for you! :o)
I am really into dressing Hannah in leggings with a skirt over it. For some reason I just love the way it looks. I just recently went to Target and bought about 4 new pairs of leggings just for this purpose.
I also have this new love for leg warmers...so much so that I purchased a pattern on Etsy to be able to crochet some for her.
Then of course there are hair bows and headbands, and french braids and ponytails! The photos below are just a few photos that I found really fast.

With Colson sometimes I feel like he gets left out in the cute clothes department--but I do my best to find things that don't always have a dog or a football on them.
I have more fun on the holidays with him. I am really into these little boy ties. I absolutely love the Etsy shop Petite Peanut!
Plus, anything kind of preppy--like little sweaters or something. OH...and of course, you can't forget about the super cute baby jeans! :o)
My next fun splurge that I want to get Colson, are these:

Sledding & Snow Angels
1.16.2012
Well, we got our first major snowfall last week. A good 6 inches of the fluffy white stuff fell to the ground between Thursday and Friday. I was beginning to think that winter may had taken a vacation but sadly it made its arrival and it made quite the grand entrance.
We had to take advantage of the snow...because honestly, who knows if we'll get anymore. This winter has been so strange!
Colson was born in the "Blizzard of 2011", but this was the first snow that he was actually able to play in.
And play he did!
When the sledding fun had passed, Hannah went on to make snow angels.
She has had a lot of practice making carpet angels and tile angels so she was a pro when it came time to actually make snow angels! :o)
Before we went in, we gave the snow one more chance...
No???
Maybe with sissy?
Fine, we'll go inside!

Okay, he didn't really play in it. He kind of hated it actually. :o/
But Hannah had a blast!
Colson did, however, go down the 'not even worthy of being called a hill' hill with daddy.
And then again with daddy and Hannah together. When the sledding fun had passed, Hannah went on to make snow angels.

Exploring
1.12.2012
Colson thinks he is so sneaky when he manages to crawl into the kitchen. :oP
What is so great about the kitchen???
Maybe there is something about the sound of his hand hitting the tile that he loves? Or maybe it's just because he's never allowed in there so when mommy leaves the gate open for less than 2 seconds he seizes the moment to explore?
Well, the other day he got brave while he was 'exploring'. He decided to walk from the gate to the sliding door while holding the wall.
It was after this photo that I decided to get a bit closer to him...just in case.
With a little help from mom, he made it.
Hummm...mom, what's this!?
His little feet peaking out from the curtains were just too cute.
As I was taking these photos of Colson, I quickly remembered back to when I took similar photo's of Hannah. Hannah loved playing peak-a-boo with the curtains.

In the photo above, Hannah is only a week or two younger than Colson is right now. Yet it seems just like yesterday that I took that photo. *sigh* Time just goes by way too fast.
Wordless Wednesday

This doesn't happen all that often but when it does it definitely puts a smile on my face!
