Foot Massage

Nick ran the mini marathon in Indianapolis the first weekend in May—his first half marathon. I was so proud of him but sad that we couldn't make the drive down there to watch him run. Thousands upon thousands of people with a 15 month old and a 3 year old who would have to go potty every hour just wasn't a good idea. 

Anyways, after Nick got back home he brought out the foot massager. Hannah instantly thought it was a toy and wanted to play with it.

Something tells me that she enjoyed 'playing' with it! :o)

 She enjoyed it so much that she asked me to get her a book.

Eh, teach her the joys of massages early on in life, I guess! :oP

It doesn't happen too often so I requested that a photo be taken on Mother's Day. :o)

Colson's 2nd Blood Draw

Well, we got the results from Colson's second blood draw. It looks like his T4 levels are still elevated so as a precaution, the endocrinologists down at Riley's want to take a look at him.

Our pediatrician told us not to freak out so I am not going to. She assured me that Colson is happy, healthy and thriving and that this visit is only a precaution because his results were SLIGHTLY elevated.

And while I am not freaking out, that doesn't mean I am not slightly worried. I mean we have to travel to a hospital that specializes in growth issues--so their endocrinologists can look at our son. That is some scary stuff right there!

But they are the specialists and hopefully they can tell us one way or another, what is or is not going on inside our little man.

We can only hope that it really is nothing and our little guy is just little, but if somethings wrong I guess Riley's is where I would want to be!

I guess he is soooooo over his toys that he needs to play with the dog food.

Oh, and it's tons of fun when there is still water in that water bowl...he thinks it's a mini pool!
