Hannah's Birthday Present

We have finally decided what we are getting Hannah for her birthday! :o) 

We decided to go with the Pottery Barn Hybrid My First Anywhere Chair. 

We were throwing around the idea of a riding toy, or a more hands on toy but then we thoughts maybe it was better to avoid toys for her birthday. She'll most likely get toys from other people.  And the chair she will use for longer than, oh, a month.  It will grow with her until she's three. Then we can pass it on to her sibling and just get a new slipcover because Hannah will be ready for the larger chair by then.

Plus... how cute is it going to be to have her sit in her new chair and 'open' her presents.  :oP

We're going to get the light pink like the picture above, and we're also going to get her name embroidered on it. :o) I'm so excited to see it in person!

24 days and counting...

I wouldn't change a thing!

Someday,

many years from now,

we'll look back on this crazy time 

in our life together

and wonder how we did it all...

and then, those ordinary, everyday moments

that we often take for granted

will shimmer like stars

as we recount them...

2 Years!

2 years ago today, I married my best friend!

These 2 year have flown by so quickly... and SO much has happened! We have become a family! :o)

Nick has given me the greatest gifts.... he has given me his unconditional love and he has given me my beautiful daughter. 

I am one lucky girl!

Happy 2nd Anniversary honey! 2 years married, but 13 years together. I love you more now than the day we met!

11 Months Old!

Hannah says:

Look...

                                               ...I'm 11 months old today!

What is Hannah up to these days???

*  She is wanting to walk more and more but she has yet to get up the nerve to let go of our fingers and try on her own.

*  Her new words include 'Dod' for Dodger, 'Ni-Ni' for night night, Bye-Bye, Hannah (yes she can say her name), and she can only manage to get out the 'Aw' for All Gone.

*  She loves to wave bye-bye and flip her hand for all gone.

*  She is definitely getting a little attitude, which means she is also starting to throw fits.

*  We had to lower her crib to the lowest setting.

*  She loves pancakes, sweet potatoes, apples, Cheerios and Rice Krispies.  We are really starting to explore new 'big girl' foods now so I'm sure that list will grow quickly.

*  She is wearing 12-18 months clothes.  

*  We have officially retired ALL bottles and have strictly gone to sippy cups.  And just yesterday she learned how to sip from a straw so mommy might be buying some cups with built in straws here very soon!

Hannah is getting so big!  We are officially on the countdown to her 1st birthday!  I just can't believe it!

Party plans are well under way.  I have almost all of the favor containers made.  I have about 30 tissue paper flowers made (but I still need more if we're going to decorate the garage too).  We have decided what we are getting her for her birthday, which I will post about later. And I have most of the menu planned out which I will also make a separate post about.

Hannah, we love you very much!  Happy 11 month birthday little butterfly! *kiss*
