Exersaucer Fun

We brought out Hannah's old exersaucer for Colson.

He can't quite reach the bottom with his feet but he can support his head really well so we thought we would give it a try.

He seems really interested in it. He looks at all of the different things on it. He just doesn't really interact with them yet.

Photo Slacker

Sometimes I feel like I don't take enough photos of Colson.

When Hannah was born, that is all I would do... I would take a photo of every little thing.  I want to do the same thing with Colson, it's just that when there is a 2 and a half year old running around next to you, it's kind of hard to take photos.

There are days that go by and not a single picture is taken of Colson.. or of Hannah for that matter. I know I can't take photos of my kids everyday, that would kind of get boring since we do pretty much the same thing everyday. But Colson is only 4 months old and he is changing so much. Before I know it he will be sitting up on his own and then crawling. I want to capture all of his baby-ness before it's gone. I did that with Hannah. I have more photos than I know what to do with. I find myself slacking with Colson.

This makes me sad.

I want all of the same things for both of my children. If I took 200 photos of Hannah doing something, I want 200 photos of Colson as well.

So I have made a promise to myself to be better at taking photos of Colson. He deserves to have his crazy mom take just as many photos of him as she did for his sister. :o)

4 Month Comparison

So here is Hannah:

I think they are starting to look a little different. Colson has a more defined chin where Hannah's face was really round--or maybe she was just chunky. :oP

Happy 4 Months, Colson!

Colson is 4 months old today!

I believe he weighs between 14 and 15 pounds (according to my home scale). He has his 4 month appointment on the 19th so we will know for sure after that.

He is still in size 1-2 diapers but we are about ready to switch to size 2.

He wears mostly 3 month and 3-6 month clothes but can fit into some 0-3 month stuff still.

He still eats 6 ounces every 4 or so hours during the day and will sleep anywhere from 8-11 hours at night.

He isn't rolling over on a regular basis yet. When Hannah was this age she was already rolling over so in comparison, Colson is a little behind Hannah on that front.

He loves to smile--especially at daddy. :oP

He's more tolerant of tummy time, often times looking around and finding the TV which he will stare at for quite some time.

He seems to love looking at his big sister. He will follow her across the room at stare at her.

Colson, you are getting too big WAY too fast! You are our little stinker man and we love you so much!
