I wouldn't change a thing!

Someday,

2 Years!

2 years ago today, I married my best friend!

These 2 year have flown by so quickly... and SO much has happened! We have become a family! :o)

Nick has given me the greatest gifts.... he has given me his unconditional love and he has given me my beautiful daughter. 

I am one lucky girl!

Happy 2nd Anniversary honey! 2 years married, but 13 years together. I love you more now than the day we met!

11 Months Old!

Hannah says:

                                               ...I'm 11 months old today!

What is Hannah up to these days???

*  She is wanting to walk more and more but she has yet to get up the nerve to let go of our fingers and try on her own.

*  Her new words include 'Dod' for Dodger, 'Ni-Ni' for night night, Bye-Bye, Hannah (yes she can say her name), and she can only manage to get out the 'Aw' for All Gone.

*  She loves to wave bye-bye and flip her hand for all gone.

*  She is definitely getting a little attitude, which means she is also starting to throw fits.

*  We had to lower her crib to the lowest setting.

*  She loves pancakes, sweet potatoes, apples, Cheerios and Rice Krispies.  We are really starting to explore new 'big girl' foods now so I'm sure that list will grow quickly.

*  She is wearing 12-18 months clothes.  

*  We have officially retired ALL bottles and have strictly gone to sippy cups.  And just yesterday she learned how to sip from a straw so mommy might be buying some cups with built in straws here very soon!

Hannah is getting so big!  We are officially on the countdown to her 1st birthday!  I just can't believe it!

Party plans are well under way.  I have almost all of the favor containers made.  I have about 30 tissue paper flowers made (but I still need more if we're going to decorate the garage too).  We have decided what we are getting her for her birthday, which I will post about later. And I have most of the menu planned out which I will also make a separate post about.

Hannah, we love you very much!  Happy 11 month birthday little butterfly! *kiss*

First Day of Fall=Gloomy Day

Today is the first day of Fall!  I am so excited that Fall is finally here... officially!  

Although Fall has not very nice to us so far. Today is one gloomy, rainy day. That and they're saying it is supposed to get up to 83 degrees.  UGH!  I'm sorry but that is not a Fall day!

Today is this kind of day:

Yeah, I did do that to my daughter.  Does that make me a bad mom???  I thought it was funny!  :o/

Anyways...to make this day even worse... Hannah gets her flu shot today.  Poor thing.  :o(

Hopefully the weather will whip into shape here in the next few days!  I am ready to wear sweaters and sweatshirts!  :o)  And so is Hannah... because mommy kind of packed up most of her summer clothes.  If the weather doesn't cool off, I am going to have to put Hannah in a sweater when it is 80 degrees outside... and I don't think that would be very good.

What is your first day of Fall like?  warm? rainy? cool? I hope it is better than ours!

peek-a-boo

Hannah loves to play peek-a-boo!

Hannah usually isn't allowed in the kitchen...we close it off with our gate.  But she managed to sneak in one day when I forgot to close it.  She headed straight to the curtains and decided to play peek-a-boo.  :oP

Elmo

I do not believe in sticking your kid in front of the television just to keep them occupied. However, I do believe (and especially since Hannah is getting older) that it is okay for her to randomly watch some educational type cartoons/shows. 

So I had turned on Sesame Street one day and it totally caught her attention. 

What is it about Elmo that keeps kids so engrossed in what he is saying? She loved him!

Apple Picking

A few weekends ago we took Hannah apple picking.  She couldn't do much but we still had fun... and we think she did too!  :o)

Butterfly Invitation

I think I have finalized Hannah's birthday invitation.  

It is simple and clean but still fun and girly!  :o)

 I took these with my crappy camera but I hope you get the idea.  Now I just need to order them!  :o) I'm excited!

EDIT--The butterflies are cut out of crepe paper and attached to the invite so the wings will 'flutter'.  And I think I am going to make the butterfly smaller and put two on there... so they are more in proportion with the flowers on the bottom.

Paper Butterflies

There are over 50 paper butterflies in this photo. 

Doesn't look like it, does it? 

I am going to use these paper butterflies (all hand cut by me!) to decorate the house and the favors at Hannah's birthday.  They are so cute in the box, I can't wait to see what they will look like hanging up and on their tissue paper flowers.  :o)

Now I just need to buy the tissue paper. 

Anyone know where I can get pink tissue paper that doesn't cost a lot of money?

Photo Shoot

It had been a while since I did a photo shoot with Hannah.  So while we were  on our walk yesterday at Coffee Creek, I decided to take some photos as well.
