Hannah's Debut!

Well our little girl is officially a little girl.  Our 3D ultrasound today confirmed it!

It was surreal to see her!  She was a little stubborn and kept her hand by her face but we still managed to get some great shots of her!  She is, of course, beautiful!  :o)

Here is Hannah's debut!

Newborn Portrait Session

We have booked a newborn portrait session for our little one and I am so excited about it!

I found a great photographer, Samantha Uphold who takes wonderful newborn photos.  Its going to be great to have these photos to capture our babies first week of life because she is going to grow so fast.

If you want to take a look at Samantha's work you can visit her BLOG or her WEBSITE!  Like I said, I am super excited for her to take our baby's photos because she is fantastic!

29 weeks!

How your baby's growing:

Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet his increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source ofcalcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day.

7 months

Baby’s energy is surging, thanks to the formation of white fat deposits beneath the skin. (Have those kicks and jabs to the ribs tipped you off yet?) Baby is also settling into sleep and waking cycles, though -- as you’ve also probably noticed -- they don’t necessarily coincide with your own. Also this month, all five senses are finally functional, and the brain and nervous system are going through major developments.

Dachshund Onsie

As if I haven't posted enough things from Etsy... I found this dachshund onsie from mooshygooshies...$16.00.  Too cute!

Etsy, Etsy, Etsy

I keep finding things that I love one Etsy.  I have yet to buy anything that I have posted about but that day is coming soon.  Once August 30th rolls around and we get another look at Baby Loving, I will start buying things for our baby and the nursery!  August 30th can't come soon enough!  :o)

But here are a few things I found today:

kkhoff11 makes these super cute name blocks that I am definitely putting at the top of my list as something to buy for the nursery.  7 blocks are only $28.00.  They're only 1.5 inches so they're not that big but they would be a great accent to a wall shelf.  I might even get custom ones spelling out her name... but these imagine ones are cute too!

StencilStudio has this really cute wooden sign for $12.00.

IdKnitThat has this cool knit swaddler thingy too that is pretty neat but kind of expensive.  Its $45.00.

Safe Baby Tips

These are just too funny!

Shopping

This Saturday Nick and I are going to hit up the Carter's 50% off sale and hopefully come back with at least a few sleepers and onsies.  I know we'll probably get clothes from people at the shower but the 10 or so outfits I have gotten our baby myself just won't cut it.  And those outfits range in sizes from 0-3 months to 9 months so there is really only two or three outfits per size.  So I just want to get a few more things for her to wear... but try to stick with more gender neutral stuff just in case.  :oP

I have also been browsing some online stores and a super cute outfit!

This is from Baby Gap.  Cute for Thanksgiving maybe?  I want her to be cute for her first holiday but yet she will be so small...I might have to stick with a cute one piece or something...  :o/ We'll see!
The dress is corduroy and is $26.50.

The sweater is also $26.50

And then how cute are these shoes? They are also from Baby Gap and are $14.50.

Third Trimester!

I have officially entered my third trimester... which means I have less that three months before Baby Loving makes her grand entrance.  AH!  Less than THREE months!

She's moving a lot... but oddly enough, only when I'm laying down.  And when she does move I get kicked or poked on opposite sides of my stomach... like on the right and on the left.  Weird!  She must be pretty comfortable in there, thats all I can say!

I haven't really started freaking out yet... yet being the key word there though.  Maybe its because I'm still not feeling 100% pregnant.  I am currently 27 weeks and my belly isn't all that big.  I can still bend over, etc... and I haven't reached that uncomfortable stage yet... the only thing that reminds me that I am pregnant are those kicks I get when I'm laying down  and of course not being able to lay on my stomach and having to pee every hour.  I'm sure once we start our childbirth classes in September, that will make it feel more real and I will start freaking out.  Who knows!  Until then, I am just enjoying this relatively easy pregnancy.  I have no complaints at all which is more than I could have ever asked for.  I only hope my delivery goes as smoothly!

My baby shower is coming up in about 5 weeks, so that is pretty exciting.  I haven't seen most of my extended family since Easter so it will be nice to see everyone again.

We also sold our house, which is wonderful!  Now we get to start our new one.  I'm hoping that we can move in before Christmas... I guess we'll see.

Etsy Find

So I found this adorable little hat on Etsy and I thought I would share... I love it!

Baby Bedding-BOUGHT!

So I have changed my mind on our baby baby AGAIN

A few weekends ago, I went to Babies R Us with my mom to finish my registry and I saw this beautiful bedding.  My mom was buying the bedding for us as my shower gift so she decided to just get it while I was there.  It is so cute, I love it... but it is very girly!  I hope I didn't jinx myself by getting gender specific bedding before the 3D ultrasound to confirm gender.  :o/  I guess we'll see.

I've picked out espresso furniture to go with it... I'm not fond of the white furniture.  I think the darker furniture will ground the space instead of just blending together.  And I will probably NOT paint the walls pink.  I can only handle so much pink and I think putting it all over the walls will just be over the top.  I think I will paint it a shade of the green and then as an accent, paint either a pink and cream strip or pink boxes to highlight her name on the wall or both... we'll just have to see when it come time to paint, how crazy I want to get. :o)

Make Me Babies

So I came across this website on one of The Bump boards called Make Me Babies, where you put in a photo of yourself and a photo of your partner and they create a photo of what your child will look like.

I must say... our girl doesn't look too bad.  :oP  Although I'm not sure what is up with the braids in her hair...  :oP

I can't wait to meet our little girl and see what she really looks like!  3 more months!

Wall Words

What a great way to personalize your baby's nursery!  Whether you choose to do your baby's name or just embellish it; or maybe just put up a cute little phrase over their crib, these wall words are wonderful!

"NEW!" Sweetness, laughter, joy and love, that's what little girls are made of. With designs. Perfect for over a baby bed!

There are many websites on the internet that have vinyl wording that you can put on the wall...

...just to name a few!

Handprint Ornament

How cute is this handprint ornament kit?

This would be perfect since Baby Loving will be arriving just before the holidays! You can find a lot of different options on the internet!

3D/4D Ultrasound

So Nick and I have decided to get a 3D/4D Ultrasound done.  I'm really excited about it because the last time we saw our little girl was when I was 16 weeks. (I am now 26 weeks)

At my doctors appointment last week my doctor said nothing about scheduling another ultrasound so we thought we would do the 3D/4D.  So we have scheduled the elective ultrasound for August 30th and the grandparents-to-be will be joining us!  I'm really excited and it is going to be really hard waiting the remaining 3 1/2 weeks!  It will be really nice to see our little girl again though... and it sill set my mind at ease getting a confirmation of the baby's gender!

I have another doctors appointment on August 28th so we'll see if she schedules us for another normal ultrasound.  My doctor is very old school so I'm not even sure if she does more than one.  But if she does than it will be a double bonus of getting to see our baby on ultrasound so close together!  :o)

AH!

LESS THAN 100 DAYS TO GO!
