Today we got Hannah's pictures taken.  We got family pics taken this past weekend but wanted some studio shots as well.  I think they turned out really nice... but I guess that's easy when your subject it a cutie patootie.  :oP

Early Birthday Present

Hannah's Aunt Holly and Uncle Dan came into town yesterday because they can't make it up this weekend for the party due to work.  So yesterday we all went out to Target so they could get Hannah's birthday present. Needless to say, Hannah had a blast in the toy aisle (as usual), but she seemed particularly fond of the V-Tech Alphabet Train.

So they decided to get Hannah that toy! :o)

And so Holly and Dan could see Hannah play with it, we 'opened' her birthday gift a few days early. 

She loved it. It was a big hit!  :o)

Pink Popcorn

Remember the paper cones I blogged about a while ago???

Well, I decided to make pink popcorn to put inside of them.  

I found this recipe:

Ingredients

2 cups sugar

• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1/2 cup water
• red food coloring
• 2 cups unpopped popcorn
• 
  
• Directions
• 1.  Pop corn in an air popper.
• 2.  Boil the sugar, butter, water and food coloring for 3 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes.
• 3.  Slowly poor the sugar mixture over the popcorn and toss to coat evenly.
• 4.  Let dry on a cookie sheet. To speed this process dry in a 200 degree oven for 10 minutes, watching carefully.
• (makes 8 -10 cups)
